Arrow Blue

Arrow Blue is a vivid, saturated medium-to-dark blue solid with a confident, almost assertive character — at #0265BD it reads as a clear, rich blue without metallic complexity, carrying a slightly cool undertone that Porsche's own description calls "daring due to its intensity." It is not a pale or pastel blue, nor is it the deep navy of Gentian Blue — it occupies that energetic middle register that reads as genuinely blue in any light. Arrow Blue (Arrowblau, code 305) was a production color from 1976 to 1982, offered on the 911, 912, and 928 — a six-year run on some of the most significant Porsches ever built. After its discontinuation it eventually found its way back through PTS — first via a special approval on the 918 Spyder, then formally approved for the 991 generation 911. Today it is one of the more historically respected PTS blues, and a low-mileage original-paint 1978 911 SC in Arrow Blue has sold at auction as a notable collector piece.
