Atacama Yellow is a warm, richly saturated yellow with a notable orange undertone that places it between Speed Yellow and Signal Yellow in the Porsche palette. At #e0a126 it is golden rather than pure yellow, with the warmth of late-afternoon desert light built into the formula — which is precisely the inspiration: the Atacama Desert in northern Chile, one of the most dramatic and colorful landscapes on earth. The color also has roots in the BMW palette, where it was originally introduced, before crossing into Porsche territory through a PTS Plus customer commission. As part of the 2023 PTS update it was added to the broader catalogue, becoming available on the 911 and Taycan.
