Azure Blue 356

Azure Blue 356 is a rich, medium blue solid with subtle greenish undertones that Porsche describes as "reminiscent of a deep blue sky on a clear day" — at #2e3a4c it is actually quite dark and restrained, sitting in the navy-teal register. Its origin is remarkable: it was first developed for the 992 Carrera GTS Cabriolet America Edition, created in collaboration between Style Porsche, Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, and representatives from Porsche Cars North America and Porsche Canada Limited — celebrating two anniversaries simultaneously: the 70th anniversary of the 356 America Roadster and the 30th anniversary of the 964 America Roadster. The color is a modern reinterpretation of the historic Azure Blue used on early 356 models from the 1951–1953 period — updated for contemporary paint technology while honoring the original's restrained elegance. Added to the formal PTS catalogue (code 5ZA) in 2024. Four documented examples reflect its status as a new and still-rare PTS option.
