Carrara White

A warm, solid off-white — lighter than ivory, cleaner than cream, with just enough warmth to distinguish it clearly from the harder purity of Grand Prix White and Alpine White — Carrara White (Carraraweiß, code B9A) was a widely available solid white offered from approximately 2000 to 2015 across the 911, Boxster, Cayman, and Panamera. Named after the Italian marble quarry in Tuscany whose stone is prized for its exceptional whiteness and fine grain, the color carries connotations of Mediterranean elegance and classical sculpture. PaintRef confirms it extensively across this decade-and-a-half window. Rennbow records it as a warm, slightly ivory-shifted white with more character than pure white. The hex #F5F5F5 confirms a near-pure white with minimal color bias. As a solid (non-metallic) color available without the additional cost of a special paint, Carrara White attracted buyers who wanted a clean, warm white without the complexity or expense of a metallic or pearl finish. It was replaced in the lineup by the Carrara White Metallic tricoat from 2015 onward.
