GT Silver

GT Silver (GT-Silber, code LM7Z) is a bright, clean solid silver at #EFF0F0 — an extremely pale, almost-white silver that reads as highly reflective and aggressive in full sun, with a slightly blue-white quality that gives it an icy crispness distinct from warmer silver tones. It is the non-metallic counterpart to GT Silver Metallic, sharing the same name and code family but lacking the metallic flake that gives its companion greater depth. Rennbow describes it as a beautiful, aggressive-looking silver that looks like you are flying by even when parked, noting it looks good on all models and from every angle — which is why it stuck around. Rennbow documents it on the 911 in 2004, 2008, 2011, and 2015–2018, and on the Boxster in 2008 and the Cayenne in 2011. Two documented community examples reflect its status as a selectively ordered finish that was consistently available for many years without ever becoming the dominant choice. Its relationship to the much more popular GT Silver Metallic is analogous to how Grand Prix White relates to Carrara White Metallic — the same fundamental color statement, without the added depth of metallic flake.
