Rennbow confirms this apparent identity confusion directly, noting that it is puzzling this colour is catalogued as silver when it is more accurately described as a light metallic green — and that it is most commonly seen as part of a smart two-tone scheme on the 924 and 924 Turbo, paired with Onyx Green below the beltline. The name was likely derived from the crystalline Finnish lake of the same name rather than the Shinto deity of rice cultivation. Code L94A is confirmed on the 924 and 924 Turbo (931) in 1980–1981 by touch-up paint records. One documented community example reflects both its narrow production window and the relative scarcity of surviving transaxle-era Porsches in this unusual two-tone configuration.
