It sits in the pale pastel zone, closer in character to mint or birch-leaf green than to the vivid Lime Green or the warm Conda Green that were available simultaneously. The name Birchgreen is particularly evocative — the specific grey-green of birch leaves in filtered light, a color that is naturalistic without being assertive.
