Nardo Grey

Nardo Grey (Nardograu, code Y7C) is a cool, medium-tone grey with a subtle blue-green tint and a distinctive matte-adjacent quality that gives it a sophisticated, almost industrial character — not warm, not stark, but quietly modern in a way that no other grey on the Porsche palette quite matches. Porsche's official description connects the color to the Nardò Technical Centre (NTC) test site in southern Italy, which Porsche acquired in 2012 — a high-speed test oval whose asphalt and concrete surfaces share the color's composed, functional tone. The color originated at Audi, where it was introduced in 2013 and became one of that brand's most celebrated colors, particularly on RS-performance models, before crossing to the Porsche PTS catalog. Added to the updated PTS program for 2023, it has attracted particular attention on GT cars — notably the 911 GT3 Touring, where the flat, restrained quality of the finish complements the understated exterior specification of that model. Its popularity has been disproportionate to its rarity, with enthusiast commentary consistently ranking it among the most desirable current PTS greys.
