Paint cross-reference records show L90A in use on Porsches from at least 1977 through the early 1980s, appearing primarily on the 924 — which shared its production line with Audi at Neckarsulm — while also documented across the broader VW Group during the same period. On the 924 in particular, the color fit the model's clean European design language well. Surviving examples in confirmed factory Polar White are uncommon today; restoration of 924s in this color requires attention to the specific undertone differences between L90A and the more readily available Alpine White L90E, which replaced it and reads slightly warmer.
