Titanium

Titanium (D7Z), also referenced as Titanium Metallic with auxiliary code A7, is a medium-dark, near-neutral solid grey that sits just above the midpoint between true silver and anthracite. The hex of approximately #505050 describes a balanced charcoal grey without meaningful warm or cool bias — a clean, business-like grey that reads quietly on all body forms. Despite the "solid" designation, some touch-up paint sources list a metallic variant under the same code, suggesting the finish exists in at least one variant with fine metallic particles. The color appeared on the first-generation Cayenne (955) from 2003 through 2007, where it was a catalog-available metallic option on Porsche's then-new SUV platform. At a time when the Cayenne was still establishing its visual identity, Titanium represented a thoughtful, low-profile alternative to flashier body colors.
