Togo Brown

Togo Brown (6411), Togobraun in German, is a deep, non-metallic chocolate brown with richly saturated warmth that reads closer to dark cocoa or bitter chocolate than to tan or beige. The hex confirms a very dark brown that benefits from strong natural light to reveal its depth, which in flat or overcast conditions can read as simply very dark brown. It was introduced as a special colour (Sonderfarbe) on the 356-C for model year 1964 and continued through 1965, also appearing on the earliest 911 and 912 examples produced in those years, making it one of the very first colors offered on the 911. The 356-C factory color documentation records it alongside Dolphin Grey as one of the new Special Colors for that final generation of the 356. Surviving 356-Cs in Togo Brown are among the most sought-after and distinctive examples of the model, typically found with period-correct Fawn leatherette interiors that complement the exterior perfectly.
