Underberg Green

Underberg Green (P6G), Underberggrün in German, is a deep, rich non-metallic green with a warm golden undertone that gives it a vibrant, organic depth closer to an old-growth forest floor than to the blue-greens or military khakis elsewhere in the Porsche palette. The hex of #2D4636 confirms a very dark, saturated green — dark enough to read as near-black in low light, revealing its full warmth and complexity only in strong natural sunlight. Porsche's own documentation explains the origin precisely: the colour was developed at the personal request of a customer through the Paint to Sample Plus process, taking its name and inspiration directly from the Underberg family — the Swiss-German entrepreneurial dynasty behind the Underberg digestif bitters brand — whose corporate colour and delivery van livery provided the specification. The first known application was on a 991.1 GTS Coupe from Belgium, documented by the Exclusive Porsche Models community around 2017, and it was subsequently added to the formal PTS catalogue. Touch-up paint databases confirm it on the 911, Taycan, 718 Boxster, and 718 Cayman from 2021 onward. With a rarity of two out of five it is uncommon but increasingly available through PTS, and has found particular favour among 911 GT3 and GT3 RS buyers seeking a non-metallic dark green with genuine heritage context.
