Verde British Racing Green

Verde British Racing Green (611) is a rich, deep, non-metallic dark green with blue-grey undertones and a hint of yellow that gives it vibrancy and life in direct sunlight while retaining an imposing, almost black depth in shadow. The hex of #004225 confirms an extremely dark, forest green — saturated but close in value to black, requiring strong light to reveal its full character. Porsche's own documentation notes that the shade was originally a Ferrari colour — darker than Porsche's own British Racing Green — and was developed at the specific request of a customer as part of the Paint to Sample Plus programme before being incorporated into the general PTS catalogue in 2024. It is one of eleven new colours added in the May 2024 PTS update, making it available on the 911 and other models from that programme year onward. The name evokes the tradition of British Racing Green — the colour that first appeared on British-registered competition cars at the Gordon Bennett Cup races in the early 1900s — while the "Verde" prefix acknowledges its Italian automotive genealogy. With a rarity of two out of five it is already available in orderable quantities through the PTS programme.
